By accessing or using IoT Armor's services at iot-armor.com ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IoT Armor provides IoT security scanning services including:

  • Firmware vulnerability analysis
  • Network security scanning
  • Compliance checking
  • SBOM generation
  • Security reporting

3. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate, complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Scan devices or systems you don't own or have permission to test
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Upload malicious content or malware
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

5. Subscription & Payment

5.1 Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed securely by LemonSqueezy.

5.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

5.3 Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new paid subscriptions. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.

5.4 Price Changes

We may change prices with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored until renewal.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including all software, designs, text, and graphics, is owned by IoT Armor and protected by intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process your content to provide the Service.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • All security vulnerabilities will be detected
  • Scan results are 100% accurate
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IOT ARMOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Security breaches resulting from undetected vulnerabilities
  • Damages exceeding the amount paid for the Service in the past 12 months

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IoT Armor from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Content you upload to the Service

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay subscription fees
  • Upon your request

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
